A judgment signed by plaintiff and defendant, where the defendant has agreed to allow the plaintiff to have a judgment. A judge must approve a consent judgment and “enter” the judgment. As a judgment, this type of settlement gives the plaintiff the powers of execution on the judgment, where a typical settlement would not.
